We’re an all-gender all-genre a cappella group known for our fun performances and fresh takes on popular songs! It always feels sunny when we perform, and not just because of our golden vests! Since our founding in 2000, we’ve gone million-view-viral on YouTube multiple times, released an album entirely composed of original songs, and performed at UC Berkeley's commencement in 2022 and 2024.
Audition InfoAuditions run from M 1/26 to F 1/30. We're looking for all voices -- sopranos, altos, tenors, baritones, basses -- as well as vocal percussionists. All genders are welcome.

Nikkei Choral Ensemble
Nikkei Choral Ensemble, also known as NiCE, is an a cappella group at UC Berkeley dedicated to arranging and performing songs in both Japanese and English. Our repertoire consists of a wide variety of both Japanese and English music, ranging from western pop and indie songs to songs from anime and games, Japanese classics, and more.

Artists in Resonance, casually known on campus as AiR, is UC Berkeley's premier A Capella group. From our beginnings in 1987, we now have seventeen amazing performers and perform a repertoire of self-arranged pieces, with everything from jazz to indie pop.

Drawn to Scale, also known as DtS, is a co-ed competitive a cappella group that performs diverse repertoire such as pop, rock, r&b, and even the occasional jazz hit -- all of which are student-arranged. They compete in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella and perform at gigs on and off campus throughout the year.

DeCadence is a student-run, all-inclusive a cappella group that strives to balance musical quality with fun in every performance. We sing a wide range of genres and love sharing our music wherever we go—whether we're performing on Sproul, visiting other campuses, or taking the stage at Memorial Stadium! Above all, we’re a tight-knit group that values both community and musicianship, and we bring that energy (and our gold capes!) to every stage.
