A Cappella
We’re a lower-voices a cappella group known for our fun performances and fresh takes on popular songs! It always feels sunny when we perform, and not just because of our golden vests! Since our founding in 2000, we’ve gone million-view-viral on YouTube multiple times, released an album entirely composed of original songs, and performed at UC Berkeley's commencement in 2022 and 2024.

The California Golden Overtones
The California Golden Overtones are the premier all-female identifying and gender non-conforming a cappella group at UC Berkeley. Founded in 1962, the Overtones have released multiple albums and regularly compete at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, reaching the west semifinals in 2023. The Overtones can often be found breaking out into harmonies and practicing dance moves in their signature heels!

DeCadence
DeCadence ("duh-KAY-dence") is a student-run, all-inclusive a cappella group that loves to add some music and fun to your day. We sing indie, pop, jazz, and any other genre that comes our way, often while sporting our iconic gold capes. Wanna check us out? Drawn to Scale
Drawn to Scale, affectionately known as DTS, is UC Berkeley's competitive co-ed a cappella group, with a wide variety of interests and majors but a shared love of singing. Their repertoire ranges from pop and indie to rock, R&B, and contemporary — brought to life through student-made arrangements and innovative choreography. In February 2025, they became two-time ICCA semifinalists, placing 2nd at the ICCA West Quarterfinal and earning Best Choreography for the second year in a row.
